I'm not sure the question...

yes it works with a paddle / spinner.  Oscar at http://www.oscarcontrols.com sells a few...  These hook up to a single mouse axis and works great.

but take note...

the original arkanoid used a weightless spinner (when you spin it and let go...it would stop)  and most of the people here like weighted spinners (like tempest that when you let go it continues for a bit).

You can find original arkanoid spinners on ebay for about 20 - 25 bucks... (and you need a cabinet or box to hook it up to) then you would need to hack it.  You also wont know how clean it will be and might find the gears are going bad... many ebay items are what others replaced because it was so old... have to take that in mind.

The slikstick spinner is the exact opposite of an Arkanoid spinner, it spins FOREVER.

You don't have to hack it for PC though, it plugs right in.

www.oscarcontrols.com sells spinners too.

An original Arkanoid spinner will hook up with either an Oscarcontrols.com mouse hack or an optipac from www.ultimarc.com

But really, the original Arkanoid spinner was one of the worst ones. The Tornado spinner or one of oscars spinners will be just fine.
