Pole Position II help
« on: November 23, 2013, 09:51:54 am »
Hi guys/gals.  I have a pole position cockpit running a pole position II board.  Everything works great but im not getting top speed like I should on the game.  Im only getting around 190-195mph.  My dip switch settings are correct and set on high speed.  When I go into test mode I notice when you push in the accelerator it is reading 60 something.  I dont think this is correct.  How do I fix this?  Is there a throttle pot to adjust on the accelerator itself?  Im new to this so if this is the case how do I adjust it?  Any help would greatly be appreciated! :)

Well, you are probably on the right track since I would assume that there is a potentiometer that might have a mis-aligned gear on the shaft that needs to be corrected.
Perhaps there are details in the manual about this? http://bit.ly/1bnabX7
It is a great game, so I wish you solve this issue.

By the way, I think that this question shouldn't be in the Monitor/video section, but that would be something that the admins could correct.
