Boot loader for windows XP
« on: November 07, 2013, 08:59:47 pm »
Anyone know of a software program that I can have Windows XP auto load when it boots up, then it gives me a list of the program I want to run... Example:  It boots up and shows a list of say 3 programs... (option 1 is maximus arcade, option 2 is a jukebox program or option 3 is hyperpin, etc)?

I want a menu to come up and then I can pick what I want loaded from that cool menu

I know back in the day on Commodore, this was the norm... simple boot up menu then you can choose when of the various games to load up.

It was sweet and simple.

Thanks for the help~!
Greetings From The Lord Humongous!

GameTech:

Are you trying to have a menu pop-up before Windows XP is loaded, or have it displayed once you are at the loaded desktop?

(More info is needed.  Thanks.)

How about this:

Use Grub and have three MicroXP builds dedicated to your FE of choice.

Also look at PLOP it has booting options including VHD.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.
