Help identify this board, please?
« on: November 03, 2013, 09:18:35 am »
I "think" this is a 1000-in-1 MAME board, but I am not certain.

What I "do" know, is that it will boot up, goes to a Windows screen with everything written in Chinese/Japanese and then the monitor displays a garbled screen. If I plug in an LCD, it displays "invalid resolution".

I have no manual (which is why I need to know what to look for) to diagnose the problem.

Also, if I press F8, I can get into the BIOS, but it will randomly look up.

I have no markings, part numbers, model, manufacturer, nothing.

If you are familiar with this board...

Is the ribbon cable REALLY supposed to drape over the heatsink and fan like that? Seems kind of dumb to me!

Google images reveals to me that it is indeed a 1000-in-1 board.

So now the question is, where would I acquire a manual to show me where everything hooks up?

And how to set it up for the proper resolution.

Does anyone have a manual or pdf for this?

Thank you Ken.

I'm willing to bet it's set for PAL video!

Now that I know what each switch is for, I'm confident I can get this thing working.

Does anyone know if the power wires need connected to the jamma connector?

The manual doesn't specify if they are to be connected or not.
