Poster board marquee
« on: October 23, 2013, 11:56:42 pm »
Has anyone ever printed a marquee on poster board paper? I'm looking for something cheap to print at home. I am curious to how well it will light up. Or any other suggestions for material to print my own.

Honestly, I would think poster board would be way too thick to let light through.

That's what I was thinking. And regular paper is too thin and grainy.

Only way to get light to pass through your marquee is to use translucent film or some form of printable media you can put in your home printer if you are going that route.  If the film is not translucent, it will never look correct when backlit.

Do you know where I can get something for an inkjet that is long enough for a marquee without having to buy a ton of it. Just one peice will do. That is why I was asking about poster board?

I'm not sure, but I am offering printed marquees on translucent film that then needs to be applied to a piece of plastic anywhere from $25-$30 shipped depending on the size.  bjbowman045@gmail.com...let me know if I can help.
