Need some help deciding a Theme for my cab.
« on: October 19, 2013, 08:56:44 am »
Please help... I'm so unable to decide as to what to do for my cab. I'm getting to the point where I'm going to need to decide very soon or I can't order my t-molding or my controls. Here is the cab that I'm building:

I was going to do a Mortal Kombat theme, but I'm almost thinking now that I don't want to go with a theme that is based off of an actual video game, but to go with a theme that will look good, but not based on one certain game.

Since I use the name Daraku Tenshi as my forum name at just about every forum I was thinking about using that (but it too was from a video game). Not many people know that information though. So, again I was thinking about going with a theme like the one I made here many many years ago on this mock-up. (oops just noticed this was an even older image with the wrong button configuration... not that that matters because I would not be using that button layout anyway).

The third idea I had was to do something based off of this poster I made about a year back.

For those of you who don't understand this one (which will be far and few between) this is the Cafe from South Town (KOF/FF) that is owned by Richard Meyer and is featured in many games as the scene for a fight. Anyway I thought it would be a neat idea for a theme, but didn't like the way the mock-up came out for that design.

The fourth idea was to have some kind of surreal dream theme...

But, to be honest I don't like any of the idea's. What do you think? Anyone else like the ideas or can build on them to help me out? Or do you have an idea that you are not going to use and don't mind telling me about it.

It can't offer anything other than best wishes.  Fallen Angels is a neat game and IMHO opinion a hidden gem.
