MALA doesn't handle quitting natively

Doesn't it?

"Use hook for exit: Keyboard Hook around the emulator with a certain key to terminate e.g. ESC."

Hotkeys works really well for me in Mala

I've found that hook to have issues similiar to the ones you get with MA and to just not work at all with some emus but YMMV.  I did misspeak tho, it has support but isn't 100% I'd say.

Yea, I can only seem to get hook working with a keyboard or keyboard encoder. Never with a gamepad emulatinf keys through Joytokey.

OK, guys....

I know I promised pics of the Arcade Show awhile ago but real life kind of got in the way.

Here they are.  There are lots of them.

We had a lot of fun!  All said and done more than 5000 people came in and played over a 1 month period.  People of all ages came to enjoy a simpler form of gaming than what we have today.

No original cabinets were harmed in the realization of this show as all of them were built from scratch with a loving hand ;)

All of the cabinets were sold to local folks except for the mini Pacman cabinet.  I have to figure out what to do with him.  No ROMs were included in the sales as most of these folks follow the emulation scene it wasn't a problem.

Children, women and men... Oh my!  We had a great time and made almost $5000 (or 500,000 yen) for charity.

The happy couple.  Unfortunately Ms. Pacman went one way and Pacman didn't sell.  I think it might be because

1)  The Ms. Pac cabinets never made it here to Japan because of licensing issues with Bally Midway and Namco.
2)  The Pac cabinets were not the bright yellow, blue and red that we know.

In the next couple of weeks I will be putting the Mini Pacman cabinet on Ebay.

I believe that it has a 40 gig HDD, an 8.6 inch touch panel for juke functions.  4 external USB, a lighted marquee, a lighted mini replica coin door with working credit buttons.  Composite video out as well as left and right channel audio outputs.  Last week I also fitted it with a dsub15 VGA output so that someone could hook it up to a big flat screen.  The cabinet was painted and hand stenciled.  It turned out beautifully.

If the ebay auction goes over 1300 US dollars shipping from Japan is free!  Again guys, no roms will be included, but .131 version of MAME worked the best with this little system as it is an ITX.  I guess whatever home it goes to can make appropriate upgrades.

Hope you enjoyed my pics.

See ya soon, we got more ideas in the works.

i thought the same thing going through the images just now. If i remember correctly, puckman units were white with 1000x better cabinet graphics.  ;D

Yeah 404, I would agree that the Japanese Puckman cabinets had pretty good artwork, but I am quite fond of the Iconic American Stenciled Yellow cabinet.  I am not a big fan of the European Puckman cabs though.  I don't think that they needed to add the maze at the bottom.

problem is. as iconic as the american cab is to americans, it is not iconic to the very demographic you were aiming at, japanese.

Wow!  I really have to give a shout out to MAMEMIA and his METAL mini coin door replicas.  Really awesome work there.  You can check it out here.
