Hello community!
Well, this is the first cabinet I've ever built, and it's been a lot of fun so far. I started this somewhere around 5 months ago or so but the progress has slowed since classes started again and I picked up a second job. Nonetheless, with my Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks coming up hopefully I'll have time to progress the beast! Anyways, this is using a 32" LCD for a display (mostly because my doorway is ~28 inches or so, I can't remember exactly). Anyways, lets get started with some pictures!
(I don't have the designs I did on graph paper scanned, but maybe I'll get around to it at some point...)
We started off by taping out an outline on the 3/4" melamine.

Here's both sides cut out side by side. There's a cleat in the top for the top board. There's also a cutout near the bottom to make the base that the computer will be on sturdier.

Here's the frame standing up with the base and top in there just to hold it all together.

This is a cutout for the back piece to fit into.

Added in a shelf in the middle for stability, I also used edge banding so the edge wouldn't be the ugly brown that the melamine has.

Here's the cut made for the T-Molding to fit into (went with the awesome Galaxian Green T-Molding

), oh and my dad who has been helping me make the cabinet possible!

Added in a few more boards and got the TV test fitted.

Added in the side boards next to the TV, it's really snug but fits perfect. We also got the TV mounted on the inside of the cabinet so it can hold in that position.

We also got a swinging cabinet door installed on the bottom of the cabinet, but I don't have pictures at this time, I'll add some more later!
Tell me what you guys think, I'm open to all and any tips and/or criticism!
