1941 bad sound problem
« on: November 18, 2003, 12:50:02 pm »
I have a lot of artifacts (scratches/hickups) in the sound when I play 1941 (and some other games too).
Is this a problem with how mame generates sound for those games or is it a problem with my sound setup?

I've got a maddog multimedia 5.1 sound card (in 2 speaker mode) and it works beautifully on a lot of games and definitely works great on PC games or my jukebox software, so the problem is mame related.

What's your sound like in 1941? Does it sound fine?
