So I bought a cheap ass belt sander from Menards and I am sanding down my horrible mistake I made painting my cabinet. I am sitting here thinking about how much of a pain in the ass it in getting around all the corners and what not. Well I didn't realize that I had all the bolt out of one side of the cabinet and I bumped the cabinet hard and what do you know, the side fell off!
It's a Taito cabinet, was a red one and I was surprised at how easily it fell apart. It did have some glue and staples in it, but they must be super old because they didn't hold up very well. Needless to say, I decided to just tear down the whole cabinet to make stripping it and painting it easier.
So, once I get this bastard put back together, I don't want it to be nearly as structurally weak as it was before, at the same time I don't want to use wood glue and staples, because honestly, I think that if some point I need to take it all apart again, it'd be nice to be able to do so.
So, with that being taken into consideration, what are some things I can do to solid this baby up once I put it all back together?
