Ultracade- Laser Disk Games?
« on: September 09, 2013, 02:45:14 pm »
I recently acquired an Ultracade- and was unimpressed at the video quality of the laser disks games.

I happen to own a new/unopened Dragon's Lair 1 & 2, Space Ace upgrade pack (ultracade) with the USB Stick.

Before I make all kinds of trouble for myself- anyone know if the video on the sealed upgrade package is better than the version 1 of Ultracade with them already on the drive? I feel the video looks like the original CD versions of the PC titles, not the higher quality DVDs that came later on.

(please skip all the Ultracade bashing, legal issues etc). This is all above board.

Thanks!
Seriously. Will it fit in my basement or what?

Please understand that I'm not bashing ultracade in any way when I say this.

Step1.  Pull out all that crap.
Step2.  Install Daphne, it's better and has superior laserdisc rips.
