Between the Cowboys, Texans, and Aggies this has been one hell of a frustrating football year in Texas.

The last time Ponder started for the Viqueens against the Pack, he lit them up for 3 TDs, no INTs and a passer rating of over 120.

Freeman is out with a concussion and Ponder is in!   ;D

Congrats to Markrvp for another championship!  After Saint finishes the Wiki login problems, he'll be sending you your gift.  We do expect your championship speech to be about 5 paragraphs so post it when you can.  Better luck next time Vigo.  You got second which is the first of the rest of us losers.

Thanks to all for participating.  Holler if anyone wants to do a Round 2.

Who knows... maybe Romo won't choke on a key drive and blow the game.  It could happen.  Once.

It's only November.  He can still win at this point.  He doesn't go into full blown gag mode until December.

I want to last at least one week so Tennessee over Jacksonville.

It's only November.  He can still win at this point.  He doesn't go into full blown gag mode until December.

A few weeks ago, during one of those weak moments when I wasn't watching the game on a DVR and skipping all the commentary, I saw an elaborate analysis explaining how Romo wasn't really a choker if you looked at his fourth quarter numbers.  My first thought was, about 5 minutes into preparing this analysis it should have dawned on the writer that the very fact you're compiling it kind of proves the point.  My second thought was that I never thought Romo blew it solely in the last quarter, but there was always some key drive and he was guaranteed to throw a pick.

Thinking a little deeper, I go back to my Jason Garret conspiracy theory where I was convinced he was intentionally blowing play choices when he was offensive coordinator just to make the coach look bad.  95% of the game would be excellent and then you'd see a weird play that defied all reason and they'd lose.  Went through that for two seasons.  With Romo calling the plays, you don't see that anymore, but you still get the picks.

It's been a very frustrating era to be a Cowboys fan, and I suffered through 1989.

The Dallas loss to Detroit was some horrendous coaching. A friend summed it up nicely " Hey, Jason Garret.........let's see if Brandon Pettigrew can actually catch a pass.  Let's see if the other WR on the Lions can catch a pass....you know...what's his name. Oh, that's right.....we DON'T!  No one does!  They don't HAVE one.  In summary......you're fired."

It's really not as complicated as they want you to believe.  Any Packers fan should look at Romo and be like "OH WHAT THE HELL NOT AGAIN".  Tony Romo is exactly Brett Favre but with only about 85% of Favre's talent.

Romo calls his own plays now, Jason's too busy maintaining that unnatural hair color.

I thought Favre would have been an interesting choice as a closer for the Cowboys.  Oh well.

Unnatural hair is the Cowboys' coaching legacy.

Favre was so good for a few years he literally won a Super Bowl despite his Romosity.  Romo is not good enough to do that.  The packers made it to the Super Bowl before Favre could screw it up and Bill Parcells put them over the top.
