Can someone help find a coin mech for slim cabs.
« on: August 21, 2013, 10:18:24 pm »
So im building a slim wallmount jukebox, its about 3 to 4 inches interior, wich means i need to install a coin metter that can work on the side, kind of like this ones

so i wonder if someone can help me find the parts to install such coin mech, but i needed to be an electronic one, any help would be apreciated, thanks.

PS I not looking for a coin door, just an electronic coin metter and the metal part that receives the coin, thanks.

look for older midway/bally/taito coin door entry slot
for this google coin door coin entry slot and do some looking around
u may need to refine the scearch to inculde the mfg or game in question
but it is for a standup,so the time line is mid 70's to mid/ late 80's

Is it feasible to fabricate your own? Not too long ago, as an experiment, I tried to shape a small piece of plastic to a similar shape. It failed miserably, looked like ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- and cracked. I shaped another piece out of some thin aluminum sheeting. Looked better but too thin and soft.

I can shape smaller slots ala Computer Space but they're too plain. The antique style brass slots are easy to find, but the style pictured above is a bear.
