Windows 7 boot screen above monitors supported resolution
« on: August 21, 2013, 12:31:57 am »
Hello.

My monitor only supports up to 800x600.  Is there a way to make the first part of the boot in win7 either not show or reduce the resolution?  I have tried the "no gui boot" option in startup which disables the win7 boot logo but the resolution on that screen is still above 800x600.  Once it gets to desktop, it moves to 800x600.  It's only there for a little while but I thought there was a way to avoid that screen altogether.

Thanks!
