Multipede

Figured I get some information gathering started in preparation of another project. I hope to rebuild a rescued centipede cabaret in the near future, but like my other cabs I can't leave stock well enough alone. I saw this graphic posted elsewhere and was looking to do a similar mod that many centipedes have seen before:

Trying to find anymore pics of this graphic have been tiresome. This seems to be the best version out there of this marquee. Any threads that show it have been over 5 years dead. Seeing how this will be cabaret sized (4.5" x16.5"), is this graphic good enough for the job? I do plan to back light the marquee like other atari cabarets, so I may have to make the size a little smaller to add more black border.

I'm also contemplating having the centipede cabaret side-art on the left side of the cabinet, but shrinking the millipede full size side-art down to fit the right side. I have no photo-shopping skills of any kind, but getting a profile shot of the cab and playing with of all things MS paint, I can see it working. Thoughts?

Last issue: My Monitor Bezel is not in great condition. Large portions of the graphics are peeling off the glass. I would like to strip off the remaining paint and re-apply a new bezel graphic to the back of the original Atari stamped glass. Has anyone had success doing this before? I'm sure it has been done. And does anyone have the graphic to print? I just haven't been lucky enough to come across anyone that either sells the graphic or a replacement bezel for the cabaret.

I know Todd over at http://www.arcadeoverlays.com/storefrontprofiles/default.aspx?sfid=17232
has printed the cabaret bezels for it.  Email him to see if he still has it.

There is a used Centipede cabaret bezel here

I know you wanted Millipede but maybe you can use one of these.  Centipede bezels, US or Euro one. It was the art I had for it.  Just trying to help.  ;D

That kind of art should vectorize easily, then you can scale it to whatever you need and it'll always be crisp

Yea they are pretty good bezel files.  I had not vectorized them yet.  They would print no problem.
Threw the cocktail tables ones in there too, since there was a nice Millipede logo in there.

Thanks for the feedback guys, greatly appreciated. I may have to grab that cabaret bezel for sale.

Where you referring to the bezel art or the marquee I showed up top? The multipede marquee art was what I was hoping to get printed above all else. Any vectoring for dummies guides out there? I'm not artist but I'm a fast learner if you think the original file is not good enough.
