JPAC to monitor question
« on: August 25, 2013, 03:57:22 pm »
So I am planning on using a JPAC to connect my PC to my MK cabinet. Regarding the video, my plan is to run Soft-15 and go VGA out from the PC to the JPAC. Is that all I will need to do or are there other considerations with regards to the video?  Thanks.

If you're turning the machine into a MAME cabinet, I would highly recommend going with CRT Emudriver and GroovyMAME.

GroovyMAME with CRT Emudriver is flat-out the best way to play arcade games on a computer.

This can get your started:

Let me know if you have questions. I can help you out.

Thanks I will give that a look! And yes, my plan is to play arcade games in MAME through my Mortal Kombat II cab for which I got a JPAC for to connect my PC in without having to mod the cabinet.
