Thanks You. I am a consumer electronic tech. I have been working 23 years in that field. Just recently I had a gentleman who runs gaming rooms ask if I would be interested in servicing these games. I have learned a little so far. One thing I am unclear about is this guy thinks he can just switch boards from 1 machine to the other. Some of these are different #'s. I think you have to have the right CRT and yoke for the chassis he wants fixed. Am I right ?

It's generally not a good idea to just "switch chassis" willy-nilly without regard to make/model. Yoke impedance and CRT pinout do matter as does whether the chassis needs an isolation transformer or not.

There are some "universal" replacement chassis made by Chinese and Korean companies that retrofit many chassis, but you need to be within certain specifications to work without blowing up the chassis. In other words, don't use a low impedance yoke with a chassis designed for high impedance.
