Hey guys.
I'm slowly but surely getting my materials together to start down the road of making my own cab. I've lucked out a bit and gotten this monitor for free. I've got a coin door, this monitor, a possible computer (or two, depending on the parts I can cobble together), and no idea how long this will take. =) I'll be pricing out MDF/Plywood tonight and working some on the design of the cab. Anyhow, on to the relevant details.
Here are some pics:

Those cables go to a standard VGA hookup. The side panel pic is on the right side. The max resolution on this thing is 800x600, and I think the best is 640x480. It's 19" viewable, so probably a 21 inch monitor.
Now, from the little I've learned so far, this seems to be a pretty good mix between a computer monitor and an arcade monitor. What do you guys think? Good or bad? I'm trying to decide, should I rip it out of the casing and mount it directly? (Never been inside a monitor/TV cover before) If so, what do I do with the adjustment controls? And how tricky would it be to mount? Also, does anyone have any idea if the oldschool RGB inputs on this would be of any use to me, or should I stick with the VGA adapter? What would you guys do with this if you had it? =)
Oh, and I should mention that I'm on a low budget. heh.
Thanks for any help and/or suggestions.
