Mame and hyperspin
« on: July 18, 2013, 07:55:20 am »
Hi,

I am trying to set up a basic mame/hyperspin setup with just a small selection of my favourite arcade games.

I am currently using mame32 v.62 as I have a complete setup with all games working etc, it works fine on its own and hyperspin works fine with the artwork and vids etc. however, when I open mame32 games thrrough hyperspin the sound is messed up and they are so slow you can barely start the game.

Any tips or advice on this one?

The pc is a dual core with 1gb ram, no graphics card

Thanks

Rob

I haven't used Hyperspin much, but it's usually best to use the regular MAME build with a front-end.
You can download previous versions here: http://www.mamedev.org/oldrel.html

It and MAME32 can live side by side in the same folder, just point Hyperspin toward regular MAME.
You may need to mess around with MAME.ini by hand instead of pointing and clicking in MAME32 to change settings.
