Trivia game in a Mame Cab
« on: June 24, 2013, 02:29:59 am »
Is there a trivia game from this decade (or last) in mame?

If not, does anyone have any suggestion. I searched around and only found a PC version of you dont know jack thats not really playable without having my keyboard out.

Thank in advance

There are trivia games...but they are realllly old... like professor pac-man old.

It's something we need actually.  I've thought of doing one I the past, but the sheer amount of work needed to make it enjoyable....  I'd have to charge for it and it's apparent that trivia games don't sell very well.

I found a trivial pursuit for mame but, its not very good and one player.

I think im gonna search the consoles for trivia games (the ps2 version of trivial pursuit seems like the best option so far). Console version will be easier to map on the cab and i wont need a keyboard

Quiz and Dragons is a lot of fun, but you better brush up on your 80's prog rock...

AKAIK, that is the most recent trivia game in english on MAME. 1992. Tons of Japanese and Chinese ones more recent.

A good idea IMO:

A PC based trivia game that allows people to choose from multiple choice answers using their smartphones.
The software would credit the first correct answer and track scores with no need for a host.

I think people would pay for it.
