any site's make a snes breakout cable or a solder type plug for the av port?

I forgot where I got it but I have a perfect fit and shape male solder type plug for my genesis and plan on using the wire loom from this pcb kit to work with the same pcb and go over to vga with it.

I also would like to do the same to my snes but not sure if anyone out there makes a breakout cable or just the snes/gamecube molex plug deal in a solder type.

I would like to use that pcb and grab one of H's bartops and have the best of all words for the console's.

psone on the redant vga box

ps2 on component or redant vga box but would not power through ps2 mem card port so I modded it to use a 7.5v wall plug 

dreamcast with vga cable from  www.aliexpress.com

wii with official component cables

gamecube with official component cables

genesis self made cable using the hardware mentioned above pretty much that plugs into the stock console port and then goes to the harness that plugs right into the 5-pin port on the pcb in the link like it was made to be.

snes would like to do the same but looking for the hardware to make it happen.

I think it would be pretty cool to be able to swap them out of the bartop like that while having the best of display's for each still 

crafty's SLG is in the future for the gens ps1 and snes too.

still looking into the original xbox vga bios to see what that is all about and if it is better then component or not.

Check section three.... it may or may not work as it isn't an officially supported signal. 

Afaik nobody makes a breakout board, but those multi-out cables just snap together... the pins won't be there, you'll have to fashion/find some but it shouldn't be that bad. 

There's also an unofficial scart connector:

Rather pricey if you ask me.

yeah I think my best bet is take a scart and hack the end off at the connecter for the tv and go from there.

Let me know how this turns out.  I'm sort of interested in doing something similar. 

The only thing holding me back is the fact that I can't do that with the NES without some hardware mods.

you may have to wire 5 off the video chip legs or some solder points on the bottom of the board but there not that bad as there is nothing small on the ol nes like a ps2.

there nice and big like a old glass tube pcb with plenty of room.

Yeah I know, but I'd basically have to buy another NES.   I've still got all of my childhood consoles and they are pretty much unscathed.

yeah I would not hack up something like that either when there is plenty of other canidates that have no meaning and readily avialable.

if you do go through it I would remove the rf coaxial deal and open up it's exsisting rounded port and install a vga port or 9 pin serial.

you will have room to work and wind up wires without that useless box beings it is going over to a rgb anyhow.

I did the same to my genesis and used that spot to mount my homemade pcb where it's metal box once rested along time ago
