Williams multi game art request
« on: June 04, 2013, 04:44:34 am »
Anyone know where I can download/purchase the williams multi game side art (not the character art one - the plain one with the text and stripes).

Thanks.

This Old Game has them printed for $65 - ( http://www.thisoldgame.com/products/multi-williams-printed-side-art ) or the Stencil set for $85 ( http://www.thisoldgame.com/products/williams-multi-game-side-art-stencil-set )

I was a bit bored so remade a copy of it in PS at approx 11"x17" 300DPI that should work well for printing (still deciding what side art to use for my Robotron bartop and this might fit well since it is a single player dual joystick with 6 buttons CP for other games so a Williams Multi-theme.)  Here is a screenshot of the result - If you woould like a copy of the psd file or a fullsize .png copy PM me and I'll send it to you. The Text Fonts are a bit different as I'm not sure the exact font that was used before so just used something in the same fashion (but that can be changed easily if you know the fonts) Also the colors can be changed easily as well if you wanted some other color scheme instead of yellow\black.

For Example Here is Blue\Red

Looked at another thread with an example of the sideart and noticed it had the black background - So I added it and made the colors the same as that example :

Nice work !

Yes, the ones I've seen on cabinets seem to use the same red/yellow colors and fonts as the Defender marquee.

Thanks for sharing. I will pm you.

PM received and replied with Download link for a 7z package with both .PNG and .PSD copies -- More than happy to share as it helped me figure out what design to use for my bartop sides as they were too plain without anything but didn't want anything too busy and I think this fits pretty well.

Exactly the same for me - I am looking for a really old school early 80's look for my bartop, but without too much clutter.

Thanks for sharing jdfan, really appreciate your effort. There are some really good people in this hobby, and you are obviously one of them.

Cleaned up the image slightly (found a few spots needing adjustment) -also adjusted the red a bit to match the pic you sent over E-mail and changed the font to one I found that is closer to the original. Sent a copy of the adjusted files to your E-mail. Here a pic of the new result
