New digital pinball front end released by GameEx's author
« on: May 22, 2013, 03:54:05 am »
Quoting Tom's post today over at GameEx's forum:

"PinballX is a free digital pinball front end designed for digital pinball cabinets developed by the author of GameEx. It is compatible with HyperPin media and databases. Credit to Bill E for creating the first digital pinball front end publicy available HyperPin.

Please be aware this is a new release and there may be some items to address which we are happy to do."

I'm not really into my pinball but decided to be helpful and pass the news on. As it's by GameEx's author, I'm sure it's a quality front end and will be even more so as time goes on.

It looks really good, but isn't it a complete ripoff of hyperpin?

Maybe the backend is improved, I know that the "hyper" fe's are notoriously hard to setup because you have to do everything manually.

Good, I'll have to try to this out on my build.  Hyperpin tests the limits of my medications at times.   :badmood:
