You know what - it's not
that terrible. It looks basically like this man wants to play games first and make it look "pretty" or "authentic" second. And there's some charm to designing it with chalkboard (guessing) material.
And while the button spacing is not something I would do, the control panel is far from "cluttered" and he knew that a 'switchable' stick is a nice compromise to wasting space on a third stick. And the monitor actually fills the bay nicely (albeit a little big - but it doesn't look bad at all.)
Honestly, if it looked dazzling with artwork and design, I'm sure people would just say "eh, he bought the thing at a store and modified it" so I can totally see why they chose this cabinet to feature.
For some reason, I actually kind of like it.
