A Trick for Forcing Auto-Launch on a USB stick
« on: April 29, 2013, 11:37:53 pm »
As many of you know, windows stopped allowing auto-launch for usb drives around xp sp2.  That kind of sucks for our hobby as a little auto-launch stick would be nice for certain projects.

Anyway I saw this on hack-a-day.  It's so brilliant I'm surprised I didn't think of it.  ;)

Basically just make a cdfs partition on the usb stick to make the computer think it's a cd.
