Mame "nebula" marquee change
« on: November 10, 2003, 11:18:42 am »
I want to use the MAME "nebula" marquee from Oscar's web site, however the dimensions of my homemade cabinet don't match it: mine is narrower and a little taller. The visible portion of the marquee is roughly 19x8

I tried resizing the original image to make it fit in the 19 inch width, but the logo doesn't then fill the entire marquee height. I could live with having a larger blank (black) space at the top and the bottom, but the problem is that the bottom "lense flare" (circle) behing the word "Multiple" is cut at the bottom.

Anyone knows of a "full size" source for that image?

If not, is there a hi-res mame logo only that I could use to make something similar (unfortunaltely my skils at PaintShop Pro or the Gimp aren't very good at all. I do plan on improving them but would rather finish my marquee before I'm up to speed.

As a last resort, would one of you gurus be able to fix it and either send me the full marquee or just an overlay for the "lens flare" that I could paste onto mine?

Thanks!
