where to find these?
« on: November 10, 2003, 09:23:05 am »
I looked at some local electronics shops and even asked the tv repair guys--no one seems to know where to get one though--its off a wells gardner k7000 but not on their parts list--I need the 500k and 25K versions.
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

Trim pot source for monitors
« Reply #1 on: November 10, 2003, 10:25:02 am »
Mouser Electronics (www.mouser.com) has these. Their part numbers are: 323-409V-500K (500k) and 323-409V-20K (close enough to work for the 25k). These pots are only 61 cents each, but if you buy 10 of the same value they are only 41 cents each.  ;D

I think I'm going to rename my monitor to the ken layton 25" ;D you are a way bigger support than wells gardner--putting their name on no longer seems fair at this point!

thanks!

I think Bob Roberts also has these trimpots, but I think he charges $3 each.
