 :bump

I visited the 16-Bit Bar + Arcade for the first time recently. It was nothing short of amazing.

Buy one beer, play all of their classic games (excluding pins) for free as long as you want. I have to go back sometime soon.

You lucky ---daisies---.   :banghead:  I was actually thinking about opening up something like this a year ago but was kind of worried about the economy.  Might have to take a trip up North and visit this Summer.

I went on a random evening, and the place filled up fast. It was a happening place, and this was quite a few months after it first opened.

They do theme nights and tournaments to keep it interesting, and they get "new" games in every so often based off of customer feedback.

If you came up to visit, you wouldn't be disappointed.

Looks awesome.  Love the layout with the long tables down the middle.  I can picture myself with a giant nacho, a pint or two, and a lot of retro!

I often travel to Columbus for work, and I have been meaning to make a trip out to this place one night.  Unfortunately, I often find myself working until 1-2AM and just crash in my hotel room immediately after.  Next trip is in a month or two.  I WILL make it this time!  A bonus is that my cousin is an arcade hobbyist as well, and he just moved back to Ohio.  His place is conveniently on the way, so it'll be a very retro-themed work trip this time around.   :)

Yes, make sure and visit 16-Bit when you're in Columbus again. I'm sure you'll love it, too.

(Keep in mind that the place doesn't open until 4 p.m., but it stays open fairly late.)
