Building cabinets helped fund my trip to Europe
« on: April 05, 2013, 11:22:36 pm »
Some people gave me the idea to post some pictures of my trip to Europe here so since I like to share pictures of my builds I figure I would share pictures of what those builds payed for. Been back for a month now and have to say I miss the hell out of Ireland and France. Stayed there for 1 month and a week with an old friend of mine that I stayed with in New York some years back. Free hosting at her place in Dublin which was very kind and we stayed at her sister's apartment building in Paris for free. Paris was awesome in itself, her sister is good friends with the land lord and gave us the vacant apartment across fromher for a week no questions asked (furnished). Can't explain how awesome that was and had a view of the Sacre Coeur & Arc de Triumphe from the bedroom window. (quick note - my friend is a native frenchy). I would say I spent less than any tourist in history for my stay in Paris and all the things I saw.

Enough monologue, PICTURES! - they will be random and mostly unsorted -

Forgot to mention, I had bought 2 fancy pants DSLR cameras (one for me, and one as a gift for my host) but when I extended my stay I needed to not feel poor in Paris so I sold it for 3x what I payed for it. Electronics are expensive in Ireland.

Anyways, that is why I haven't been taking build pictures. Shite camera phone for now...... Will continue to take some during builds and post final pictures once I am done, but until I get a new camera I won't update like I use to. Speaking of, I am almost done with a Two-Player Cabinet with LED buttons and a trackball, just needs art, that I will post soon. Also finishing up the shell of a 4-Player and it's Control Panel. I like to keep my garage having at least a quarter inch of sawdust on everything.

Quick pics because I am sleepless

Always nice to see places and things I don't have to work to get to. But I might muster up the inclination to head over there. More for the food than anything else.....

By the way, you might want to've said "Building cabinets funded my trip to Europe".
