mamewah and merged rom sets

I have set up mamewah with mame but am still wondering how to
show merged roms??
I can set listgeneration to zip files and romfolder, but then i only get
the merged roms (main sets) in my list.
I tried the verify listgeneration option but this doesn't seem to work for me though. When i do this i don't get any games in my list...
Any help would be appreciated.
