How to flipy during gameplay
« on: March 17, 2013, 05:37:38 pm »
Since a week I'm a very satisfied user of groovymame, it rocks.

however, some older games are upside down, or mirrorred, or upside down an mirrorred, like spacefury. I know how to change the rotation of upside down games on the fly, using the video option under TAB, but how to change it on the fly for mirrored (and possibly upside down) games? I know hoe to get spacefury playing correctly from the command promp (use -flipy), but I start the game from a frontend, so I have two options:
1. change it on the fly during gameplay. But in the video options under TAB I can only rotate the image. That doesn't help me with spacefury.
2. Edit the game config. But which text to input there to flipy the game?

Option 1 would be the nicest, but I believe that this is not possible, is it?

Edit: let it be, I just read in another thread that it is a known GM ´issue´that happens with some vectorgames.

Yes, this will be fixed in the next release, hopefully. By now, you can use the flip options in specific inis.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
