Comments on control panel (custom/metal slug)
« on: March 17, 2013, 07:09:58 am »
Hello,
I'm building an arcade cabinet, I think I've got a thread charting it's progress somewhere here :)

Where I'm upto is sorting out the control panel art. I suck at art any my mate who was doing the stuff has gone quiet after helping out so much, so I'm doing it myself. I have the side art tank (the lettering is done) and probably the marquee (though it is a bit dull  :( ) done, just not printed yet. I thought I'd continue with the metal slug/snk look with the control panel, but I've been playing with various colours and can't decide, and probably need some constructive criticism on the CP regardless. Here are some woeful paint.net attempts at superimposing and a front view of one of them :)

If I went for one of the striped ones I'd probably carry it down to the front of the controlpanel to maybe form a point.
Thanks for any feedback
