Insta shell/windows updater clash

So ive kinda broken my start up can anyone help?

I installed insta shell and had it booting the cab straight into Hyperspin and things were great

BUT i wanted to add my own start up logo  like i have done before i used window updated/boot program set up my cool logo and reset

But now the logo appears but the insta shell config doesn't override windows

Not a problem i thought so i clicked on that handy undo button built into insta shell but i got a grey box error and it didnt work

I restored the original logo with boot/update and reset but that did not work and ive tried running in safe mode

I know its a long shot but has anyone had similar problems and can you help me fix it?

P.s i have no restore point as its a fresh install of windows 7

Have you tried running it as administrator? If you google "Instantsheller unhandled exception", there were some sites with limited info. The Gamex site says to try the latest version, but you may already be using it.

I can't remember now since it happened last summer when I built my cab, but I setup my cab using Win7 64 bit, and I had a bad issue with Instant Sheller which is why I stopped using it. I remember having to fix something, but I just can't recall what it was.

Someone on one of the sites also mentioned making sure NET Framework is up to date.

Did you try reinstalling IS?

So after no luck I had to do a fresh install of windows 7 and research the correct way to shell windows,it's a handy program it just has a few bugs
