Small Illustrator Favor (Trace This)

I commissioned some paintings awhile back and the end result I'm not thrilled with.
I paid the agreed upon amount and had the artist drop them at my door.
As I sit and stare at this I think I need to try and salvage it.

I purchased a nice fat tip black marker, a poster marker.
I'm thinking if I add a nice thick black outline I might be able to clean this up, make it look slightly better.
Look for example at the eyes, I think I can use the marker to hide the paint run.

Anyway I was hoping perhaps someone could do the black outline for me, give me an idea of how it would look.
