Arcade Monitor Issue - NeoTec S501
« on: February 23, 2013, 11:36:23 am »
Hi all,

I picked up an Ultimate Arcade 2 a couple months ago and had been having some issies with the monitor.  The top and bottom were squished, as well as the left side of the screen.  The right side was fine.  I also noticed lines at the top of the screen and the picture was a bit wavy.

I went ahead and had all of the caps replaced (with a kit from Bob Roberts), making sure the 4 caps mentioned in the instructions were installed with polarity opposite of the what is on the top of the board (link below to cap kit instructions).

Now, when I power up the monitor, it comes on but I am getting a really messed up screen.  I believe I have hooked up all the wires correctly.  I tried playing with the trimpots but to no avail.  I have attached a pic to hopefully show what I am talking about.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
