My todo list.
« on: November 05, 2003, 05:01:35 am »
This thread is for me to help keep track of all the things I need to do to all of my machines. Feel free to comment, suggest, ask questions, or hurl insults.

Kangaroo

Cap monitor.

Troubleshoot spare boardsets (the one in it is perfect, one of my spares doesn't come up, and the other has a graphics glitch).

Carefully compare condition of spare control panel, and decide which one looks better.

Repaint coin door.

Crystal Castles

Replace big blue cap. (A VERY high priority).

Bondo work on one corner.

Install those new caps I bought for the AR II board (possibly replace any caps on the main PCB as well).

Time Pilot

Finish installing new wiring harness.

Repair or replace monitor.

locate lower coin door, or replace entire lower panel to eliminate need for it.

Victory Pinball

Remove original battery, and relocate new one off MPU board.

Left outlane doesn't score.

Replace some bulbs.

Force II pinball

Make work.

Replace some bulbs.

Two solenoids are out.

Replace big orange cap.

New rubbers needed.

Look for two correct pop bumper caps.

Do everything else in the "Bulletproofing System 80 pins guide".

Note, this pin is on the back burner, as I am waiting on a lot of system 80 MPU boards from Argentina, and I will certainly need to order more parts as well.

Artic Mini Mame.

Light coin mechs (and possibly marquee too, although this machine did not originally have a lighted marquee).

Secure computer, speakers, keyboard, etc inside so that they cannot move.

Add remote power button for computer.

Amazing Mame

Construct back door.

Paint speaker blockoff plate and install.

Add remote power button.

Secure all components inside cabinet so that they cannot move.

Clean, polish and replace (as needed) all external coin door parts.

check out what is up with the player 2 joystick.

Battlezone

This project has barely even been started. Not going to work on it until most everything else is done.

Pong

Install coin door.

Fabricate control panel.

Put upper cabinet back together.

Install pong console and television.

Tournament Solitaire

Remote power button.

Secure computer.

install bank of admin buttons inside cash door.

See if I can't get the bill acceptor wired up.

Downgrade to an older/faster version of Mame.

Install frontend and other software.

Add audio amp so I can use the original speakers.

Space Firebird

Install Happs Universal joystick on control panel.

Put computer together (using arcade motherboard cage leftover from the Tournament Solitaire), and install.

Do minor back door surgery so that the back door can go on again (monitor sticks out just a smidge to far).
