Second Try at Side Art, please review!

Here is my second try at side are on my Neo Geo Cab. Please review and let me know.

I like the styling, but I'm not sold on the text.

My only concern is that if you have to announce in big letters on the side that it is "arcade". . . 

IMHO consider giving it a more personalized title -- examples include cabs like Retro-Futuristic/Astro, Mission Control, Alpha One, Smithotron, Two Headed Beast.

There are so many projects that have "MAME" in the title or have "-cade" on the end that they start to blur together after a while.

That said, you're not building it for me.

If you're happy and it passes the spousal approval test, you are good to go.
(If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.)

Hey, thanks for the advice!

The reasoning behind the name is "arcade" is what I used to call all cabinets and/or games. IE (Terminator Arcade, Pac Man Arcade, Etc. I really don't want it to be too personal because I have a feeling no matter what name I choose I will probally not like it later.

The styling is more for me, plain simple, "clean" look. The Font is the "Tron Legacy" font which I am a huge fan of. I think with having the Red in there is spices it up enough to look alittle Retro and still not look like a 1 genre game cabinet (mk cab, SF Cab, driving cab, etc)

Wish me luck I have some repair and woodworking to do tonight!

That ugly thing has a gigantic "MAME" marquee...

2 different colors, one on each side?  That might look pretty cool.  How would you tie it all together with the CP / Front Panel / Marquee / etc?  You could do the CP in the base color with matching buttons and joysticks on either side (blue and orange).

Are you thinking white for the base?  Might look cool in black too.

I kinda like the white base, with black t-molding. I don't know why exactly but I like the contrast between the two alot.

That ugly thing has a gigantic "MAME" marquee...

Like ANYONE is EVER going to accuse the Beast of "blurring together" with other builds.   

It's way too distinctive and well-executed.

I think the orange one is nice, though I think it would be better if the orange was brought up to a pumpkin orange colour with some orange T-Molding on the cab to compliment it.
