Aimtraks in dolphin emulator
« on: February 04, 2013, 06:27:02 pm »
I have been trying to use my aimtraks to play Wii games. I have one working with no problems. When I try to setup the second one, it acts  the same as the first. When I try to config it, it works. But when I go into the game, it see 2 wiimotes but they are the same.  Has anyone tried using two aimtraks at the same time??

Never tried using guns with Dolphin, but it's probably the same issue with all the other emulators.
That is windows only allows one system mouse.  There can be only one real pointer in Windows and all mice connected control it.
Dolphin probably gets input data from the system mouse instead of directly from the device.

I recall Aim-Traks having a "joystick mode".
You might get somewhere playing around with that.

You should explain your issue to the dolphin devs, with detailed descriptions of the hardware you are using and the issues you've ran across.  It's still in active development so there's no excuse for them not to fix it.  But yeah, joystick mode is your best bet.
