Connecting PC to Electrohome GO7
« on: February 01, 2013, 07:50:05 pm »
I recently bought an old, but working, Konami cab from a friend. It was originally built for Galaxian, was eventually converted to a Top Gunner, and, judging by the monitor burn-in, played quite a bit of Q*Bert. Anyway, I want to use it to make my first MAME cabinet. I'm planning on using the original monitor because, well, it's already there, but I haven't got the slightest idea as to how to connect the thing to my PC.  I'm pretty sure the monitor is an Electrohome GO7, but I'm not 100% positive. I'm also considering rotating the monitor so it sits horizontally, if it'll fit. How can I do these things without breaking anything or killing myself? Thanks for helping a newbie out!

Start by learning about soft15khz and finish by learning about avres. Google and this board will be your friend.
