I was interested too for a while but at $20 a tube the cost was out of proportion to the enjoyment for me.

I think if I spent that much time on the woodwork I'd use glass and brass instead of cheap substitutes.

Pretty cool.

 When I see those arc supports however, I think Industrial Steel look would look a lot cooler.

 Such as Carbon steel, Stainless, possible Chrome, Nickel..  Rather than wood and brass.

I just built one, it was a kit build, I'm totally blanking on where I got it, but it was good quality and looks wonderful. I love Nixie tubes and if I had a disposable income, I would have bought the nixie tube wrist watch.
