Zelda Tankstick Control Panel Art (WIP)
« on: January 02, 2013, 08:28:03 am »
So I gonna bite the bullet on a Tankstick but hate the original design, and as Zelda has always held a special place in my heart am going with an overall Zelda theme from my tankstick and the stand it will be attached to.

Anyways, here is my WIP for it, I would like to put some of the arrows around the joystick and possibly modify some of the other stuff.  But I do feel it is pretty decent for my first prototype.

Any comments or suggestions would be terrific, also recommendations for a printing service would be terrific.

Nicely done. Are you going to leave the carriage bolts in the artwork? I think it'll look better without it, (especially since you can hide the bolts under the artwork). You'll also save the blue Link's right eye   ;D

When I have it printed I won't have those in there, I wasn't sure whether they would be visible or not.  I figured I wouldn't be able to hide them, but if I can I likely will.  This is my first project so we'll see how it goes.  I'll be ordering my stick in a couple weeks, so hopefully it goes well.

I do feel like the art needs something, but haven't quite figured it out yet.  I'll probably play with it some more and give myself some alternate designs so I can be positive I like it.

I added a new version to the first post, it's a bit more fun and has player numbers and such.

I see what you mean about missing something.
How about adding some kind of border all around, not sure maybe red or white?    :dunno
