Mamewah switching lists
« on: October 31, 2003, 11:13:57 pm »
According to the mamewah readme-
P1 Coin Input      (kb '3' or '5')      - switch between viewing All Games and Favorites
P2 Coin Input      (kb '4' or '6')      - switch to next emulator

Well 3 and 4 work and do what I want but 5 and 6 don't do anything. My CP doesn't have a button mapped to 3 or 4. Any one have any ideas? Readme says you can't change these buttons.

What version are you using?  The read me from .0962 says..

Quote
Customise Controls

Use this sub-menu to map keys to each available function.  The values displayed are keycodes.

I remaped those two keys to my player 1 sw4 and sw5 buttons without any problems.

You can remap these keys, they work fine for me as '5' and '6'. :) What version are you running (that is not from the current readme)? ???

P1 Coin cycles through the gamelists not just All Games and Favorites. You can change which lists are displayed under Gamelist Options >> Select Custom Lists to Cycle, or directly in the emu cfg file (Cycle List 'x' = True / False). ;)

Just when I think I've been through every menu option I find another one. I found the customize controls menu and it allows me to remap the buttons. So now its working like I want.

This front end is great!
