rebuild G-loc with different game- sega motor drive question
« on: December 14, 2012, 05:36:15 pm »
hey guys, i have a question, i have a g-lock and im transforming it, with a 32inch monitor and a computter, i want to put a different game on it, and i have desided how to do it, now my problem is the motor drivers, that come with the original g-loc, does anyone know the way the motor works???

it has an electric input, a motor connection, and then it has 5 cables, that I imagine they are for telling the driver what to do, now i did put cable by cable with each other to test if it did anything, and make the motor work, but it did't, do anyone know how this drivers works????

i can upload pictures if you like.

hello

the motors drivers boards on this gen of arcade cabinet are not just somes amp
they speak with the pcb
the problem is your computer don't know this language

so you can't use this drive board to control your motor with a pc you must have a gloc board

two solutions for you  first
you make a reverse engenering of the system and create a software to speak with the board
hard solution
second you control your motor with another drive board
look on cnc control board its not expansive and speak the CAMM language that is know by lot of control PCsoft

and if you continue in this way i am searching for this driveboard for my rad mobile
so if you sell it think to me

thank you
