Players choice 10 fullscreen in mame

My version of mame lets me hit tab and set my super mariobros game to Full screen and eliminated the upper green screen however when I exit the game and restart it it switches back to the original two screen set up.
Any idea how to make it save my single full screen change?

stop using hacked version of MAME, they break it.  Use an official one instead.

also stop being a dick.

finally, if you're not wanting the menu you may as well just run a nes emu, or the NES version of the same game in MESS which uses the same code as MAME anyway.

I was just kidding......duh
And It's not a hacked mame version, full screen is available in "game options" but for some reason it doesn't always stay fullscreen

strange, what you describe is a known bug in hacked versions of mame (no nag etc.)

when i read this, I was like "0/10, not even mad, troll unsuccessful."  Then i read the post after that...............guess it was successful.
