Side art glue?
« on: December 09, 2012, 12:13:57 am »
Previously I have ordered my artwork through mamemarquees for my other cab (really happy with their work), however for my Double Dragon cab repro I haven't been able to find any files (side artwork) to forward on to them. So I ended up buying some side art of eBay as it was pretty cheap as I need to complete it quickly (will do proper stencil artwork later on down the track).
The problem I've found is that the side art is really, really thin stuff and hardly sticky (case of 'get what you pay for') - so can I just add some glue (like 3m Super 77) to the cabs side panels and hope that it doesn't react in an undesirable way with the existing artworks glue?

If I'm screwed I'm actually toying with the idea of using the artwork as a stencil somehow... :-\

I've found that the Elmers glue sticks work really well.
Current collection - 28 cabs, 4 pins. (32 machines and not enough room)

Would it stick better to something like poster board?  Which you could then 77 to the side wall?
