ok i just got this chassis and had to put a new cap on it as it was broken off and i got that working but my question is you can see the screen kinda wave like a flag. would you say the filter cap or caps are going? are they those 390 @ 200v caps?

quick question about another d9200 that i have it has a different plug for the control board and a different power plug area..would using a older (or what im assuming older) controller board from another d9200 make the screen act all crazy. it seems like it is not syncs correctly on my golden tee fore on ega. had the vga cord ran from the game to the vga and all cords setup right and it flickers like a horizontal (hold or freq) resetting...its hard to image but one second its fine the next its freaking out. i could only get the menu button to work on the menu and i could see it was switching between 60hz and 95hz as per the menu.

never seen a different d9200 model,maybe its a d9400
you have to move the connector on the vga interface pcb to get ega/cga and use the 10 pin header for signal input

ok so here is an update on both of the chassis's. they are both d9200 one is a revision 1 and other is original. anyways both do the wave so im thinking my ground just isnt good enough or my vga cable sucks. anyways on the second chassis i can get cga to work but there is about 3 inch of black screen on bottom followed by a foldover going up for at least an inch. cant adjust it out either ega is still what i would call unsyncable as it seems to freq tear every second or so.
