another Street Fighter cabinet (artwork needed)
« on: November 20, 2012, 05:45:47 am »
Hello Guys,

I'm building (it is almost done in fact) a 4 player cabinet with 6buttons for the P1/P2 and I considering making it a SF2 CE themed cabinet.
It is mainly based on the Lusid design with extended CP.

For my room (which is supposed to be a home bar) I'd avoid anything too colorful or superhero typed. I want something classical and yet elegant, avoiding any childish looks. Street Fighter seems the be a good solution, I'd go for the old SF2 rather than the fancier SF3-4, zero that I've never even play. As the SF2WW color scheme seems a little bit too pinkish, so I'd pick the CE. Unfortunately this is not decided yet.

Considering its design nature and the fact that I living in China now, I'd like to print the artwork around here. With little, if any photoshop work.

Although I was not able to find most of the original cabinet artwork, only the Bezel and it is not in perfect shape.
Can you point me to where get some files ready for download?

I've been stalking around for a while and I've browsed through the 89 pages in Artwork section. No lucky.

Thank you

PL1

There have been some pretty positive reviews of Souldraw.com.

Some people have mentioned minor problems with adhesion on some edges/corners. (May have been a cleaning/prep issue)  If you can wrap it around or secure it under t-molding, you should be fine.

Jammin0 used them for his Ninja Monkeys build. His Souldraw art recap is here.

So there's nothing you're looking for on any of the sites linked in this post?

Thanks Scott for the reply.

I'd already checked all the links you posted on "page 89" of artwork section. thank you for that.

After due consideration it seems that the street fighter II CE does not pass the WAF test. I'll try to collect this original artwork anyway and submit again.

If anybody got directions to those I will appreciate very much any indications.

thank you guys
