Looks like you're off to a pretty good start.

1. The 3 characters in the middle are smaller than the 4 in the corners which appear to be the right size IMHO.

2.  The chef's hat looks like it is behind the upper lettering.  You may need to add a little outline to differentiate the white chef hat from the white letter border.

3. Combining #s 1 and 2, if you resize the three characters in the middle and let them partially hide behind the lower text while partially obscuring the upper text, you might like the results.  Separate the two lines of text for easier layering.

4. Consider using a lower case "c" if you think the eyes on it look a little off.  It's the only letter in your marquee that changes appearance between upper and lower case in Crackman font.

Parting thought: My obligatory question for any project with a name ending in "cade" is this -- Are you really sure you like that name or is it just a placeholder that you forgot to re-consider?   :dunno

Thanks for the great suggestions. I've taken yours, combined with a few from facebook and the wife, and modified it a bit.
I'm also thinking of trying a pacman maze on the left, maybe centipede on the right, both would fade quickly....not sure how it'll look but I'm having trouble finding vector art of either...any ideas?
And again, more constructive feedback appreciated.
(Oh, I tried the lower case C....I kinda like the eyes on it myself)
And I typically agree with the "cade" comment...way too many. But is it as big of a deal on something like this, actually spelling out the word "arcade"? just curious what your thoughts were.

You can find a Pac-man maze marquee here.

There is an unfinished Centipede marquee here.

If those aren't quite what you want, this post will give you a large list of art sources.

I just wanted to be sure those questions were considered before you spend the money on printing custom artwork.

Our opinions aren't the important ones here.  As long as you like it and your better half can live with it, I'm sure it will turn out fine.

Thanks for everything. I'm really looking just for something I can pull of pacman/centipede to add to my marquee as a design alternative, but what you gave helps.
And thanks for the list of sites. I was reading a lot of those friday at work, but was having trouble relocating them when I got home friday night.
