Name That Label!
« on: October 29, 2003, 08:46:55 pm »
Trying to figure out what all this info found on the back of a WG 25" monitor means.  This is in a Super Off-Road Cabinet.

Ok, so I scoured the rear of the tube (carefully) and found the following items:

model no: 25K7107
120v 60hz 100w max

[label on rear of tube]
RCA A63ABG25X

[label on rear of tube]
Pix Tube
Ser Num
WG 293404

[label on stem as well as chassis]
Brady Dist
Warranty Date 154
Emp# 209 (or 709)

[label on mounting frame]
020289
Chassis Ser Num
WG 293404

[lstamped on ?capacitor? frame on the chassis]
24888-03

Will include some pics in a minute

more internal wells gardner model and part numbers.

the most important numbers are the rca tube number--so you could match the tube if need be and the wells gardner model number--were you just curious or did you have a specific question--

If I'm wrong (more than likely) I'm sure ken L will straighten both of us out.

Just curious at this point.  I am kind of sizing up this beast as I have very limited electronics background.  I am trying to read as much as I can, find out as much info about these things in general as well as specific to the one I have.  I have an Ultimarc VGA card on the way via ebay and I am looking around for an isolation transformer.  Then I suppose I need to start finding out how to wire this thing up etc.

One good thing, the cats are no longer allowed in my space since I told my wife what might happen if they decide to lick a capacitor!

The only important things are the model number (25K7107) and the picture tube manufacturer and tube number. By the way, the RCA picture tube should outlast the Zenith.
