19" Monitor Frame and 19" SVGA Monitor
« on: October 29, 2003, 11:55:07 am »
I was wondering if anyone had taken an old monitor frame and put a regular SVGA monitor on it.  I've got a 19" that I was thinking about dropping into a cabinet, but I would have to get an arcade monitor mounting bracket.

How difficult would this be?  Is it feasible at all?

All picture tubes mount the same way. There are 4 mounting holes (one in each corner). Take your SVGA tube and chassis out of it's case and swap everything over to the arcade monitor frame.

I figured, but I wanted some expert opinion before I screwed something up.

Now I gotta find myself a frame.  Bet KSAmusements has one...
